Great breakfast options, nice staff. I love a diner with normal decent food not a bunch of bells and whistles, but there are daily specials if you want that too. Something for everyone, the vegetarians and meat eaters. I like a place with chatting regulars sitting around the counter, newspapers and hot coffee. Also, woman owned.

We had just driven up from Los Angeles and had some time to kill. Our hotel wasn't ready for us and we were waiting for friends to arrive to accompany us to Golden Gate Field (literally a 3 minute drive down the street towards the water). We stopped at this local diner-esque shop for a bite. Like all small places, they always have personality. The servers were polite and nice. My friend went healthy on me ordered the California omelette, y'know, your standard bacon and avocado inside with an English muffin and fruit. I on the other hand ran in the opposite direction and got the biscuits and gravy. I have to tell you, their sausage gravy is top 3 in all the biscuits and gravy dishes I've eaten. It had a little tang to it and maybe some sage and/or thyme. Definitely a solid elevated sausage gravy! There is a small parking lot in the back that you can get to off of Gilman. Just be aware of the new bike lanes and on coming traffic if you're making a left turn into the lot.
